Dr. BO grew up in Montana, attended Montana State University, and earned a degree in biology. He taught high school for 5 years in Montana and Alaska before deciding to pursue his career in veterinary medicine. He attended Oregon State University and Washington State University Colleges of Veterinary Medicine. He met Dr. Weber as a classmate and they were married shortly after graduating. They practiced in Las Vegas, NV for six years before deciding to return to the Pacific Northwest. Garland Animal Clinic was a great fit for them. They purchased it and eventually moved it to its new location.

They have four children whose faces are often seen working at the clinic, Andrew whose attending MSU, Jared a senior at Mead High School, Emma a freshman at Mead and Dani a 7th grader at St Thomas More. In addition, they have horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, and occasionally other pets in the mix.

Dr. BO loves hiking, flyfishing, spending time at the lake, and bird hunting with his German Wire Haired Pointer, Jake. Jake also has a part-time job greeting clients and patients at the clinic.

With the great crew at Garland Animal Clinic, he is passionate about practicing high-quality, comprehensive, and compassionate care. He enjoys challenging medical and surgical cases and performs most of the orthopedic surgeries. Providing long-term care for generations of pets and families at Garland Animal Clinic has been the foundation of his career. He is also involved in service organizations and contributes regularly to church and charities.
