Born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, Katie moved to Spokane in 2019 with her husband. Katie has been in the veterinary field for about 9 years and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in April of 2024. She has worked in veterinary dermatology for the past 5 years and is now working to become a veterinary technician specialist within the field of dermatology. Katie has a passion for skin conditions, allergies, cytology, and auto-immune diseases. 

In her free time, Katie enjoys yoga, reading, camping, hiking, kayaking, backpacking, and anything else outdoors. Katie lives with her German Shepherd: Roxy, Siberian Husky: Aspen, two cats: Lola and Khloe and is also a die hard Cornhusker fan: GO BIG RED!
