Katelynn has always been connected to animals and loves being around them. After graduating from EWU with a BS in Pre-Veterinary Biology in April 2022, she is setting sights on the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine to pursue a DVM degree.
She especially loves wildlife and conservation work and has worked extensively with small domestic animals, large raptorial birds, and rainforest wildlife in Costa Rica. In the future she hopes to specialize in wildlife health, conservation, and emergency care.
In her time off, Katelynn enjoys bouldering, swimming and hiking. She has two golden retrievers, a betta fish, and two cats- one sweet and one spicy!
