Ander grew up in western Washington with his family. During a short 3-year period in Albuquerque, he picked up his first veterinary job as a receptionist at an emergency hospital. From there he began learning how to be an assistant, and upon moving back to Washington he has remained in that role! 

Some fun facts about him are that he likes to draw and create things in his free time, he has 7 years of experience riding horses, he has a dachshund named Pippin and two cats named Frumpkin and Nimbus, and he is a certified Scuba diver!
