What is Clicker Training?
Clicker training is a type of positive reinforcement that adds the use of a clicker. A clicker is a handheld mechanical device that makes a clicking noise, to “mark” the exact behavior desired. By clicking at the right time, the dog will know exactly which behavior is being rewarded.
The advantages over using a voice command is the clear marking of desired the behavior, as well as bridging the gap between that behavior and treat delivery. It boosts communication and is a fun game for you and your dog.
Clicker training is the only training method taught in this class
