Katy is a licensed veterinary technician that made her way to Spokane in 2017 from Kansas. She began her veterinary career that year as an assistant. She completed her schooling and gained her license in July 2022, and joined the Garland team in March 2024.

Katy has three dogs in her pack: a siberian husky/boxer cross named Ruby, a tripod pitty mix named Nyxie, and a black lab named Lukah. Her passions in the veterinary field include anesthesia, pain management, hospice/end-of-life care, and client education. 

Outside of work, you can find her with her nose stuck in a book, covered in glitter from various crafts, or playing video games.
